I think this fundraiser is important because I love the outdoors and spending time in parks and enjoying the beauty all around me. I enjoy helping my community and volunteering so others in my community can live their best life.
I also enjoy volunteering with the Alzheimer's Association, Susan G. Komen, The Salvation Army, Relay for Life, Samaritan's Purse, and Give Hope Global. I am a National Youth Activist Award Nominee and a Presidential Service Award recipient.
I am excited to help the Spokane Parks Foundation because having fun is what I love most and everyone should be able to enjoy recreational parks and programs.
Easy access to parks, green spaces, and recreation areas is critical to the wellbeing of urban communities. From improving the health and wellness of citizens to creating a healthier physical environment, city parks are vital to the future of America’s cities.
Spokane Parks Foundation provides funding and support to all parks within Spokane County ensuring vibrant, healthy, accessible recreation programs and parks throughout the Spokane region.
